First Neurology Appointment
My neurologist is a robot. Maybe a cyborg is a better description because she looks and moves like a human. Anyways, despite my neurologist seeming to be anything but human I tried to focus on the words I had to pull out of her mouth about what she thought was going on with me. She ran a bunch of tests where she asked me to do things like walk around, close my eyes, sit and stand, and respond to questions about her touch on my fingers. She said everything was normal and that they saw some scar tissue in my brain that along with my symptoms is a clinical diagnoses for migraines. Okay, Oscar and I thought it was a relief. We can handle some more testing as she suggested. Surgery is off the table for now. That's good news, right? She dismissed the Chiari when we asked about it and said it was "nothing."
